About the Opportunity

Our office is seeking a motivated and patient-focused Nurse Practitioner to join either our busy urological surgery practice, or possibly our urology group practice.

Working with our Urologist(s), you will play an important role in supporting the delivery of high-quality patient care through virtual consultations, clinical assessment, and ongoing patient management.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Nurse Practitioner interested in urological care who values professional autonomy, collaboration, and a flexible work environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct virtual patient consultations and clinical assessments.
- Assess symptoms, establish diagnoses, and develop appropriate management and treatment plans within your scope of practice.
- Review laboratory results and diagnostic imaging reports with patients, providing explicit explanations and appropriate follow-up.
- Collaborate closely with the Urologist regarding patient care, clinical findings, and treatment planning.
- Identify patients requiring further investigation, in-person assessment, or specialist intervention.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation and ensure appropriate continuity of care.
- Provide compassionate, professional, and patient-centred care through virtual or in-person healthcare services.

Required Qualifications

- Successful completion of an approved Nurse Practitioner education program, with a minimum of a Master’s degree in nursing.




- Current registration and an appropriate practice permit with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CRNA), authorizing practice within the applicable scope.
- Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic reasoning, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a physician and the broader healthcare team.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Confidence using electronic medical records and virtual healthcare platforms.
