Code With Us Inc. is a new Winnipeg-based software-focused startup. We work with clients on artificial intelligence, software development, automation, and emerging technology projects that require strong technical abilities, creative problem-solving, and high-quality engineering.

We are currently looking for a Software Developer to help design, develop, and improve AI-powered software solutions, with a particular focus on autonomous AI agents and multi-agent software development systems. This is a flexible, in-person role based out of our office in Bridgwater, Winnipeg. All required equipment will be provided.

Role Description

We are hiring a Software Developer for a short-term position, expected to last approximately 1 to 6 months. The main responsibility will be developing and improving software solutions that leverage artificial intelligence, large language models, and autonomous agents to perform complex development tasks.

Projects may involve building multi-agent AI systems capable of planning, generating, testing, debugging, and maintaining software applications with minimal human intervention. Responsibilities may also include developing APIs, integrating AI models, implementing automated workflows, building knowledge management systems, and creating tools that allow AI agents to interact with external services and development environments.

The ideal candidate should be comfortable working with modern programming languages, experimenting with emerging AI technologies, and solving complex technical challenges. This role requires strong logical reasoning, independent problem-solving, attention to detail,



and the ability to design reliable and maintainable software.

Work will be completed in person at our office in Bridgwater, Winnipeg. Shifts are flexible and typically 5 hours long, for approximately 15-20 hours a week. The candidate is responsible for their own transportation.

Pay is CA$20.00 per hour including vacation pay. Statutory holiday pay and other applicable legal requirements will be provided in accordance with Manitoba employment standards. A 30-minute paid break will be provided for shifts longer than 5 hours.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate should have a strong foundation in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline, with an interest in artificial intelligence, software architecture, and autonomous systems.

Candidates should have practical programming knowledge and be comfortable developing, debugging, and testing software applications. Experience with Python, APIs, AI development frameworks, or large language models would be particularly valuable.

We are especially interested in individuals who enjoy experimenting with new technologies, building independent projects, and finding creative solutions to challenging engineering problems.



Previous qualified industry experience is not required, provided the candidate demonstrates strong technical potential and an ability to learn quickly.

Additional qualifications include:

- Strong programming and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience with Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, C#, or similar programming languages.
- Understanding of software development principles, algorithms, and data structures.
- Familiarity with Git, APIs, and modern development tools.
- Interest in large language models, AI agents, and multi-agent architectures.
- Understanding of software automation, testing, and debugging.
- Interest in AI orchestration frameworks, tool calling, and autonomous development workflows.
- Familiarity with databases, backend development, or cloud technologies would be an asset.
- Experience with LangChain, Microsoft Agent Framework, or similar AI technologies would be an asset.
- Ability to design, implement, and maintain reliable software solutions.
- Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail.
- Comfortable researching unfamiliar technologies and solving problems independently.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and professional.
- Comfortable working from a home office environment.
- Able to travel to Bridgwater, Winnipeg.
