We’re hiring a true all-rounder: someone who can walk into a job, figure it out, fix it properly, and leave it cleaner than they found it. We’re looking for a long-term teammate, and as we grow, the right person can step into a lead role, mentoring and advising a small crew of techs

What you’ll get

- Pay: $35-40 per hour based on experience
- Mileage reimbursement based on CRA rates

A typical week might include

- Seamless drywall repair and installation (you take pride in patches nobody can find)
- Carpentry: baseboards, door installs, rot repair, fence and deck repair
- Painting, flooring and tiling
- Minor plumbing and electrical work (with the ability to learn more complex repairs)
- Appliance installs and furniture assembly
- Bifold doors, caulking, blocked drains, demolition and haul-away
- Power washing and gutter cleaning




- 1-2 week renovation converting basement into a rental unit

You’re the person we’re looking for if you:

- Have 5+ years of hands-on experience and have worked on renovations
- Work efficiently without sacrificing quality
- Treat a clean worksite as non-negotiable
- Can work independently and make good calls on your own
- Communicate well with clients and leave them feeling looked after

Requirements

- Valid driver’s licence with a clean abstract
- Clean criminal record check
- Your own tools
- A vehicle that can carry materials: a 2x4, a couple of bags of concrete, a toilet, or a sheet of drywall (required, please don’t apply without one)

Job Type: Full time

Pay: $35.00-$40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
