We are looking for a friendly and reliable gas station attendant to join our team. You will be the face of our station, ensuring customers have a positive experience while maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient environment. The ideal candidate is punctual, comfortable handling cash, and enjoys interacting with the community. Position is a part time role consisting of mid afternoon 12-8 and closings 4-12 shifts.(1-3 shifts per week)
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
*Customer Service: Greet customers and assist with any issues they may have.
*Transaction Management: Process cash, credit, and debit transactions accurately using the POS system.
*Store Maintenance: Keep the storefront and pump islands clean. This includes emptying trash bins, cleaning counters and other various cleaning duties, ensuring the coffee/Slush station and grocery aisles are well stocked and tidy.
*Inventory:
Receive deliveries and restock shelves and coolers.
*Safety & Compliance: Monitor pump activity for safety and ensure all age restricted sales (tobacco/lottery) are handled according to legal requirements.
REQUIREMENTS
*Basic math skills for handling transactions and making change.
*Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 20lbs (for restocking)
*Strong communication skills and a dependable work ethic
*Prior experience in retail or customer service is a plus, but we are happy to train the right person
