We're Growing Our Airdrie Care Team!

Concierge Care Calgary is looking for compassionate and dependable Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to support our growing number of home care clients in Airdrie and surrounding communities.

On Saturday, November 7, we're holding a special Airdrie Caregiver Hiring Day where selected applicants will have the opportunity to meet our team and interview with us in person.

We're looking for nurses who enjoy the independence and relationship-building that come with providing care in a client's home, while also having the support of an experienced nursing and care team behind them.

How Our Hiring Day Works

We're pre-screening applicants before the event so candidates can have an individual interview time rather than waiting in line.

About Concierge Care Calgary

Concierge Care Calgary is a locally owned, nurse-led home care company providing personalized home care and nursing support throughout Calgary, Airdrie and surrounding communities.

Our clients have a wide range of needs—from assistance with everyday activities to dementia care, palliative support, overnight and 24-hour care, medication support and more complex nursing needs.

The LPN Role

Depending on the client's individual care plan and your authorized scope of practice, responsibilities may include:

- Assessing and monitoring client health
- Medication administration and management
- Wound care
- Chronic disease support
- Catheter and ostomy care
- Other nursing treatments and procedures within scope
- Monitoring for changes in client condition
- Communicating concerns to the appropriate members of the care team
- Providing client and family education
- Completing accurate and timely documentation
- Supporting and collaborating with HCAs and other members of the care team
- Providing personal care and assistance with activities of daily living when required
- Supporting clients with dementia, palliative and other complex care needs

Because this is home care, LPNs must be comfortable working independently while recognizing when a situation requires consultation or escalation.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for LPNs who:

- Are currently registered and authorized to practise as an LPN in Alberta
- Have strong clinical judgment and assessment skills
- Are dependable and committed to their clients
- Communicate professionally with clients, families and other healthcare professionals
- Are comfortable working independently in clients' homes
- Understand the importance of accurate documentation
- Recognize and appropriately report changes in client condition
- Provide compassionate, respectful and client-centred care
- Have reliable transportation to clients in Airdrie and surrounding areas
- Enjoy building relationships with clients and families

Previous home care, community care, seniors' care, dementia or palliative experience is an asset.

We are particularly interested in nurses with morning, evening, weekend and/or overnight availability.
