Overview

We are seeking a dependable Evening Cook to prepare and serve meals in a clean, organized kitchen. The ideal candidate takes pride in consistent food quality, follows food safety practices, and works well with others during evening service. Food service, restaurant, or kitchen experience is welcome.

Responsibilities

- Prepare ingredients and complete meal preparation according to recipes, service needs, and established procedures.
- Cook menu items to the required quality and food safety standards.
- Assist with serving meals and supporting smooth, timely food service.
- Handle food safely, including proper storage, labeling, and sanitation.
- Keep kitchen work areas, tools, and equipment clean and organized.
- Coordinate with team members to maintain an efficient evening workflow.
- Monitor ingredients and supplies, and communicate when items need replenishing.

Requirements





- Ability to perform food preparation, cooking, and meal preparation tasks reliably.
- Understanding of food handling and food safety practices, or willingness to learn and follow established procedures.
- Solid attention to cleanliness, organization, and detail.
- Ability to work cooperatively in a busy kitchen and communicate clearly.
- Food service experience is preferred; restaurant, kitchen, or broader food industry experience is a plus.
- Dependable availability for evening shifts.

Pay: $16.40-$18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
