Parts Room Assistant — Temporary (30 Days)

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM

Pay: Starting at minimum wage

South West Bulk Express Inc. is looking for a reliable, organized person to help organize the parts room at our truck and trailer repair shop.

You will work under the direction of our Parts Coordinator, helping sort parts, count inventory, label shelves and organize storage areas. This is a hands-on, entry-level position. Previous truck parts experience is not required—training will be provided.

Responsibilities

- Sort and organize truck and trailer parts as directed.
- Count inventory and accurately record quantities.
- Label parts, shelves, bins and storage locations.
- Place parts in their assigned locations.
- Assist with basic inventory data entry.
- Report unidentified parts, damaged items or count discrepancies to the Parts Coordinator.
- Keep the parts room clean, tidy and safe.




- Follow instructions and shop safety procedures.

What We’re Looking For
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Good attention to detail and basic counting skills.
- Ability to follow instructions and stay focused on assigned tasks.
- Comfortable standing, bending and moving parts throughout the day, using assistance where needed.
- Basic computer skills are an asset.
- Previous warehouse, stocking or inventory experience is an asset, but not required.

About the Position This is a temporary position for approximately 30 days to help complete a parts room organization and inventory count project. You will work Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM, in office at our truck and trailer repair shop. Safety footwear is required.
