Support outpatient medication dispensing at Oak Valley Health with pharmacy data entry, prescription filling, and patient-focused communication. Day and evening shifts rotate Monday to Sunday. As an outpatient Pharmacy Assistant, you will assist licensed Pharmacy Technicians and Pharmacists in technical dispensing activities.

The work includes customer service, third party claims, inventory, recordkeeping, and cashier duties. You will also prepare blister packs and, after pharmacist delegation, compounds following a master formulation.

Key Responsibilities: Greet customers and respond to patient inquiries Complete data entry and third party claims coordination Fill prescriptions and prepare blister pack medications Manage inventory, special orders, deliveries,



and supplies Maintain equipment and monitor medication expiry dates Requirements: Minimum two years retail pharmacy experience in Ontario Recognized college-level Pharmacy Technician program completion Previous experience handling third party claims Proficient computer skills; Kroll experience is an asset Robust organization, prioritization, communication, and teamwork skills Bring outpatient pharmacy experience, accurate dispensing support, and compassionate patient service to Oak Valley Health’s pharmacy team.
