General contractors, developers and facility managers hire us for LVT, sheet vinyl, carpet, tile, rubber, ceramic tile, and wall protection. Every job needs the right material, in the right place, on the right day.

You’ll own ordering, receiving, warehouse inventory and delivery to site for our projects, from contract award to closeout.

Our Project

Managers tell you what they need and when. This isn’t a button‑pushing purchasing job. You’ll choose suppliers, negotiate pricing, and keep our systems accurate enough that a PM never has to call a supplier or ask what’s left in the warehouse.

Receive material at the warehouse and know exactly what’s there and where Get material to site on schedule: pick tickets,

transport bookings and delivery coordination Give our PMs accurate counts so shortages get caught before they hit the site Handle returns, credits and surplus material at closeout Build our network of storage, transport and shipping, including out‑of‑town jobs and shipping from US suppliers 2+ years in purchasing, procurement, material coordination or logistics, ideally in construction or flooring ~ A wrong product code or quantity bugs you, and you fix it before it ships ~ You like working the phone with suppliers and you’re not shy about asking for a better price ~ Experience with Excel, Smartsheet or construction software.

Why Universal

Flooring ~ Great company culture and supportive team workplace for delivering projects. ~ Every project’s material runs through you, and you set your own priorities to get it where it needs to be. ~ You’ll help build how we manage material, not just follow someone else’s process. ~
