Coordinate protein purchasing events for Walmart buyers at Hilton Foods Canada, using supplier communication and procurement expertise on-site. Manage buying decisions across connected teams.

As a Protein Procurement Buyer, you will connect customers, suppliers, commercial teams, demand planning, and raw material scheduling. The position covers purchasing events, agreements, supplier forecasts, service-level challenges, and contract management. You will also contribute procurement insight to new product development and continuous improvement activities.

Key Responsibilities:

- Organise buying events with Walmart buyers and suppliers
- Load purchasing events and agreements to Foods Connected
- Manage long-term contract purchasing and supplier purchasing models




- Review order amendments and improve service levels
- Attend S&OP;, NPD, and feasibility meetings

Requirements:

- Buying or purchasing background preferred
- Meat protein knowledge preferred, not required
- Experience in a fast-moving fresh food environment preferred
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work within a multifunctional workplace
