The Massage

Responsibilities
- Perform professional massage therapy sessions tailored to individual client needs, including Swedish, deep tissue, sports, or other modalities.
- Assess client conditions and discuss treatment plans to ensure effective therapy.
- Maintain a clean and sanitized workspace in accordance with health and safety regulations.
- Educate clients on post-treatment care and recommend future sessions or wellness practices.
- Keep detailed records of treatments provided and client progress.
- Provide exceptional customer service by creating a relaxing setting and addressing client concerns professionally.
- Stay current with industry trends and continuing education to enhance skills and service quality.
Requirements
- Valid massage therapy license or certification as required by state regulations.
- Knowledge of medical terminology related to health and wellness is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clients.
- Excellent communication skills to explain treatment procedures and address client questions or concerns.
- Ability to maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and a caring attitude at all times.
- Prior experience in massage therapy is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided for new graduates.
