A perinatal practice with room to grow

Most RMT opportunities offer a treatment room and a compensation split. At Aches Away, you'll have the opportunity to build a focused perinatal practice within Motherhood at Aches Away, our dedicated program supporting patients through fertility journeys, pregnancy and postpartum recovery. The program is live with online booking and ongoing marketing. We're looking for one Registered Massage Therapist who wants to make perinatal and motherhood care a meaningful part of their practice.

You'll be joining an established downtown clinic with a multidisciplinary team, remote reception support and a director who is an RMT. We understand that a sustainable practice depends on more than filling appointment slots. It depends on clinical autonomy, a supportive environment and the ability to do thoughtful work with the people you serve.

The patients you'll work with

Your Motherhood caseload may include:

- Prenatal massage: Supporting comfort throughout pregnancy, with appropriate positioning, pregnancy cushions and bolsters provided.
- Postpartum massage: Addressing the physical demands of feeding, carrying, lifting and caring for a newborn.
- C-section scar care: An opportunity to develop your skills through a training pathway alongside our lead RMT.
- A broader massage practice: Build a mix of perinatal and general massage patients that suits your interests and professional goals.

You'll also work within a clinic where acupuncture and naturopathic services complement the Motherhood program. Internal referrals can create opportunities for coordinated care, while dedicated program marketing and online booking help prospective patients discover the services available. The goal isn't to confine you to one population.



It's to give you the chance to develop a recognizable specialty while retaining the flexibility to practise more broadly.

Compensation that is clear from day one

70% revenue split on Motherhood program bookings. Uncapped.

- $98 per 60-minute Motherhood treatment at the program rate of $140.
- No ramp-up period for eligible Motherhood program bookings under the 70% arrangement.
- Room contribution: $5 per half day or $10 per full day.
- No separate deductions for linens, laundry, card processing or JaneApp, according to the current compensation arrangement.
- Typical full-time earnings are estimated at $60,000–$90,000+ annually, depending on hours worked, bookings and actual caseload.

This is an independent-contractor opportunity, not an employed position. You have flexibility in shaping your schedule and setting appropriate appointment buffers, including the setup time needed for prenatal treatments. Our team provides remote reception support. New graduates are welcome to start a conversation. Our general RMT pathway starts at a 65% split and can rise to 70%. The Motherhood program's 70% arrangement applies to eligible program bookings; we'll discuss your training, experience and compensation structure transparently before you commit.

You'll have access to

- Electric lift treatment tables.
- Pregnancy positioning systems, cushions and bolsters.
- A multidisciplinary clinical setting spanning massage therapy, acupuncture,



naturopathic medicine and osteopathic manual practice.
- Remote reception support and online booking through JaneApp.
- A clinic director who understands the realities of practising as an RMT.

We want practitioners to have the space to exercise sound clinical judgment, develop their interests and build a sustainable working life.

Who we're looking for

You must have:

- Registration in good standing with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario (CMTO).
- Professional liability insurance with a minimum of $5 million in coverage.
- A genuine interest in fertility-related care, prenatal massage and postpartum recovery.

Perinatal certification, additional training or hands-on prenatal and postpartum experience is an asset. If you're newer to the profession but have invested in this area and can explain why it matters to you, we'd still like to hear from you. The right fit is someone who combines sound clinical judgment with sensitivity to the person behind the appointment. Fertility journeys, pregnancy and new parenthood can be deeply personal.
