Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse/Registered Practical Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in patient care, with experience in assisted living environments. As a Registered Nurse/Registered Practical Nurse, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care to patients, ensuring their comfort and well-being while collaborating with other healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities

- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, monitoring for effectiveness and side effects.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding health conditions, treatment options, and pain management strategies.
- Maintain accurate medical records using electronic health record systems such as Accuro.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and case management.
- Ensure compliance with medical terminology standards and best practices in patient care.
- Assist in the management of patients in various settings including medical offices and assisted living facilities.
- Provide compassionate care to seniors, ensuring their comfort during medical procedures.
- Assist with daily clinic operations and administrative activities to ensure smooth and productive clinic functioning.
- Support other clinic-related tasks and projects as needed.





Experience

- Current Registered Nurse (RN)/Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) license required.
- Familiarity with electronic health record systems, particularly Accuro, is preferred.
- Previous experience in case management or assisted living settings is advantageous.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and pain management techniques is essential.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team-oriented environment.

Part time position with 15-20 hours per week: Mondays 8:30 to 3pm, Tuesdays 10:30 to 5 pm, Wednesday 8:30 to 3pm, and Fridays 9:30 to 3 pm with 1-2 Thursday/month from 8:30 to 5:30 pm. We are looking for flexible candidates and will try to work with your schedule.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $30.00 per hour
