The Assistant Director of Athletics supports the Director of Athletics across department operations and program development. This senior role shapes strategic direction, promotes excellence across athletic programs, and advances a positive culture for student-athletes and staff.

Key Responsibilities: Assist with overall athletic department administration and management

Oversee compliance, student-athlete welfare, or sport operations

Develop departmental budgets and optimize resources responsibly

Lead fundraising initiatives and cultivate donor relationships





Supervise and mentor coaches and administrative staff

Requirements: Master's degree in Sports Management, Business Administration, or related field

At least eight years of progressive intercollegiate athletics administration experience

Experience managing budgets, strategic planning, and fundraising

Robust understanding of NCAA/SAFL rules and compliance issues

Proven leadership, communication, and decision-making abilities
