Job Summary

Duties

- Stock and replenish fresh produce displays, ensuring products are attractive and well-organized
- Assist customers with locating items and answer questions regarding produce selection and freshness
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the produce area, including cleaning shelves and display cases
- Operate equipment such as forklifts when necessary to move heavy stock or pallets
- Conduct merchandising tasks, including pricing, labeling, and rotating stock to ensure freshness
- Handle cashiering duties when needed, including processing transactions accurately
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate shortages or discrepancies to management
- Maintain general store cleanliness and perform routine maintenance tasks in the produce department

Requirements :

- Previous experience in retail sales, merchandising, or customer service is preferred




- Ability to operate forklifts safely; certification is a plus but not required (training available)
- Strong communication skills to effectively assist customers and team members
- Bilingual abilities are advantageous for serving a diverse customer base
- Excellent organizational skills to manage stock levels and maintain a tidy department
- Ability to perform cleaning duties and basic maintenance tasks as needed
- Cashiering experience is beneficial but not mandatory
- Must demonstrate positive communication skills and a friendly attitude toward customers and staff

Job Types : Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.85-$22.50 per hour
