Job Summary

Duties

- Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner
- Take food and beverage orders accurately using POS systems
- Provide detailed information about menu items, including daily specials, to enhance guest experience
- Upsell menu items to maximize sales opportunities
- Serve food and beverages promptly while ensuring proper presentation and quality standards
- Monitor guest satisfaction throughout the dining experience, addressing any concerns or requests promptly
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including bussing tables and assisting with sanitation practices
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery
- Process payments accurately, handling cash and credit transactions efficiently




- Assist in training new staff members on service standards and restaurant procedures

Experience

- Previous experience in food service or restaurant roles is must
- Fine dining experience is a plus, along with familiarity with OpenTable reservation systems
- Culinary experience or knowledge of food safety regulations is beneficial
- Solid time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a busy environment
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and satisfaction
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and order processing
