OVERVIEW

A Casino VIP Host is responsible for providing high-quality customer service to VIP guests, ensuring they have an enjoyable and memorable gaming experience. The role involves developing and maintaining relationships with VIP customers, providing personalized attention, and resolving any customer issues. The VIP Host also coordinates and executes casino promotions and events, organizes comps, and works with other departments to ensure a seamless customer experience.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

- Develop and maintain relationships with VIP guests, ensuring they receive personalized service.
- Respond to guests’ inquiries and complaints promptly and professionally.
- Monitor guests’ gaming activity and identify those who qualify for complimentary services.




- Organize comps for qualifying guests.
- Coordinate and execute casino promotions and events.
- Conduct telemarketing to develop current and existing business.
- Attend and host special events like dinners, sports, and concerts.
- Communicate guest feedback to casino management, the VIP team and relevant departments.
- Ensure compliance with casino policies and regulations.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Must have good overall communication skills in English (verbal, written, spoken), an asset to be able to communicate in other languages
- One (1) to Three (3) years of experience in a customer service environment, as a Host or Concierge is an asset, casino industry related experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of casino games and operations.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with high-value clients.
- Customer-focused with a commitment to providing exceptional service.
- Ability to handle guest complaints and provide appropriate solutions.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.

CERTIFICATES AND/OR LICENSES REQUIREMENTS

- Ability to obtain a valid GPEB registration
- Ability to complete all BCLC required trainings
- Serving it Right Certification

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

- Able to lift, handle, and transport materials that are over 20lbs
