School District 71 seeks an Online Learning Support Teacher for students with low incidence challenges, behavioural or mental health issues, and learning disabilities. The teacher supports online educators, home facilitators, and external professionals while promoting student inclusion and success. Successful candidates understand K-12 online curriculum and learning platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

- Identify and assess students across the special needs spectrum
- Support online teachers with Individual Education Plans
- Design adapted and modified instructional content




- Provide direct remedial instruction and learning support
- Develop positive behaviour supports using functional assessments

Requirements:
- Degree in Special Education preferred
- Ability to administer Level B assessments
- Knowledge of early literacy interventions
- Experience using educational software such as Kurzweil
- Successful teaching experience with online K-12 curriculum
