Job Summary

We are seeking a dependable, customer-focused Restaurant Worker to support daily front-of-house and kitchen operations. This role helps create a welcoming dining experience while maintaining efficient service, accurate transactions, and clean, safe work areas. The position may include food preparation, serving, cashiering, and other duties based on business needs.

Responsibilities

- Greet customers, answer questions about menu items, and provide friendly, attentive customer service.

- Take orders and process transactions using a POS system;

experience with Micros POS is helpful.

- Handle cash and payments accurately, and use basic math to verify transactions and complete routine tasks.

- Prepare and serve food and beverages according to established recipes, portion standards, and service procedures.

- Follow food handling and food safety practices, including proper storage and temperature control.

- Keep dining, service, and kitchen areas clean and sanitary; follow sanitation procedures throughout each shift.

- Restock supplies, organize workstations, and assist with routine opening, closing,



and cleaning tasks.

- Communicate clearly with coworkers and help maintain timely, coordinated service.

- Recommend menu items when appropriate and use thoughtful upselling to support the customer experience.

Qualifications

- Strong customer service, communication, and time management skills.

- Basic math skills and the ability to handle cash and process transactions accurately.

- Interest or experience in food preparation, food handling, serving, cashiering, or other food service work.

- Restaurant, kitchen, or broader food industry experience is helpful but not required.

- Familiarity with POS systems is preferred; Micros POS experience is a plus.

- Ability to follow food safety and sanitation procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area.

- Dependable, adaptable, and able to work collaboratively in a fast-paced restaurant setting.

Pay: $15.00 per hour
