Job Overview

- The Room Attendant helps maintain clean, comfortable, and welcoming guest rooms and shared areas in a hospitality setting.
- This hands-on role is suited to someone who takes pride in cleaning, works carefully, and contributes to a positive guest experience.

- Training is available for candidates with transferable custodial experience or industrial cleaning skills; prior hotel experience is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

- Clean and prepare guest rooms according to established standards, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and cleaning bathrooms.
- Replenish towels, toiletries, and other room supplies, and report items that need restocking.

- Inspect rooms for cleanliness, maintenance concerns, and lost property; promptly notify the appropriate team member of any issues.
- Keep cleaning carts, equipment, and storage areas organized and sanitary.
- Follow secure practices when handling cleaning products and equipment.





- Respect guest privacy and property while working efficiently and courteously.
- Support the cleanliness of designated public areas as needed.

Requirements

- Ability to perform routine cleaning tasks with attention to detail and consistent quality.

- Dependable, organized, and able to manage assigned duties independently while working as part of a team.
- Comfortable standing, walking, bending, and carrying cleaning supplies during a shift.
- Willingness to follow cleaning procedures, safety guidelines, and hospitality service standards.

- Hotel experience, custodial experience, or industrial cleaning experience is an asset, but not required.

Pay: $15.70 per hour Expected hours: No less than 16.0 per week
