/ Contract Job Summary We are looking for a seasoned Lead Solar Installer to head our installation crew. You aren’t just a pair of hands; you are the onsite expert responsible for the safety, quality, and speed of every project. Key Responsibilities Onsite Leadership: Direct the daily operations of a 2-4 person installation team, ensuring all projects are completed on schedule and up to code. System Installation: Expertly install racking, flashing, modules, and balance-of-system (BOS) components on various roof types (comp shingle, tile, metal) and ground mounts. Electrical Integration: Manage DC and AC wiring, including mounting inverters, optimizers, and rapid shutdown devices. Coordinate with the Master Electrician for final tie-ins. Quality Assurance: Conduct final walkthroughs and "shakedown" tests to ensure the system is fully operational and aesthetically perfect before leaving the site. Safety Compliance: Enforce strict OSHA standards, including 100% tie-off compliance, ladder safety, and proper PPE usage for the entire crew. Documentation: Complete digital "as-built" photos and close-out packages via mobile apps (e.g., SiteCapture, Enphase Installer Toolkit) to trigger final inspections. Customer Relations:



Act as the primary onsite point of contact for homeowners, explaining the install process and answering technical questions with professionalism. Required Qualifications Experience: Minimum 2-3 years of residential or commercial solar installation experience, with at least 1 year in a Lead/Foreman role. Technical Skills: Proficient in reading blueprints, electrical schematics, and structural layouts. Physical Ability: Able to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly and work in extreme outdoor conditions (heat/cold) at significant heights and roof pitches. Certifications: OSHA 10 (required), NABCEP Certification (Highly Preferred). License: Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record (you will be responsible for a company truck and trailer).
