Perform phlebotomy and patient-focused specimen collection with LifeLabs as a temporary part time float technician working Monday through Sunday.

As a Lab Patient Technician, you will guide patients through collection protocols and prepare specimens for transportation. Responsibilities include phlebotomies, Holter monitor connections, ECG tracings, special test collections, documentation, data entry, and client communication. This position supports patient care from greeting through processing.

Key Responsibilities:

- Greet patients and confirm required information before collections
- Explain protocols and perform specimen collection procedures
- Complete phlebotomies, Holter monitors, and ECG tracings




- Prepare specimens and documentation for transportation and testing
- Maintain client relationships and complete required data entry

Requirements:
- Approved Laboratory Assistant program graduate preferred
- Phlebotomy experience considered an asset
- ECG training or experience considered an asset
- Excellent communication and patient service skills
- Minimum typing speed of 40 words per minute
