Own SAP FI/CO configuration: GL, AP, AR, fixed assets, intercompany, and banking

Lead chart of accounts design through to business sign-off

Design and prove entity consolidation and group reporting

Design the period close and rehearse it before go-live

Own finance reconciliation across mock data loads and cutover

Build the finance reports and dashboards the business uses to make decisions

Train finance users, write user guides and documentation, and support finance in SAP after go-live

Act as the finance subject matter expert for SAP, working closely with the Finance business process owner

Must haves: 5+ years in an SAP finance functional or business analyst role

S/4HANA finance configuration on at least two full lifecycles, at least one as the analyst

Solid GL, AP, AR,



fixed assets, intercompany, and period close experience

Multi-entity consolidation and chart of accounts design or redesign

Cutover balance validation alongside a controller

Data extraction, mapping, conversion, and validation at volume

Ability to turn business requirements into buildable specifications, and to explain them in plain language

Degree in accounting, finance, commerce, business, or IT.

Nice to have: Product costing / material ledger, SAP Group Reporting or Central Finance, Canadian and US tax, FP&A;
