We are currently seeking a highly skilled Senior Android Developer / Android Development Lead to join our dynamic team and support one of our major banking clients.

Required Skills and Technical Experience

1. Angular Development (5+ years): Experience with Angular and hybrid mobile application development, particularly with Ionic.
2. Native Android Development (7+ years): Strong hands-on experience developing native Android applications using Kotlin and/or Java, Android SDK, and modern Android development frameworks.
3. Hybrid-to-Native Migration (1+ year): Hands-on experience migrating existing hybrid Ionic applications to native Android applications.
4. Google Play Store Deployment (2+ years): Experience preparing, signing, packaging, submitting, and deploying Android applications to the Google Play Store, including managing app releases and version updates.
5. Release and Rollout Strategy (1+ year): Experience with Android release management, staged rollouts,



version control, deployment planning, monitoring, troubleshooting, and rollback strategies.
6. Session and Cookie Management: Robust understanding of authentication, session management, cookie handling, session expiration, secure storage, and related security considerations in Android applications.
7. Application Architecture and Navigation: Knowledge of Android architecture patterns and frameworks, such as MVVM, Clean Architecture, and Android Jetpack components. Ability to explain the application's architecture and end-to-end navigation flow, from user login through the main application features.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience working on enterprise-scale mobile applications in the banking or financial services industry.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including backend developers, QA engineers, architects, and business stakeholders.
