Assistant Inn Manager

Assistant Manager Responsibilities :

- Assist the general manager in the day-to-day operation of the Inn in maintaining all standards of guest service.
- Analyze the performance of each department, report any problem areas, and make recommendations to improve profitability for Inn operations.
- Facilitates management of the Inn's human resources functions, such as HR administration, turnover control, staff motivation, and employee development and retention.
- Assist in creating the yearly Inn budget in collaboration with the general manager and department heads, and assess and adjust performance throughout the year to stay profitable.
- Ensure that all local, provincial, and federal rules and regulations,



as well as any corporate or brand-established policies and practices, are followed.

Assistant Manager Qualifications :

- You must have a high school diploma or GED; a bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, or a related field asset.
- 3+ years of experience working in a hotel or the hospitality industry as asset.
- A proven record of experience managing a team, preferably in a hospitality role.
- Have superb communication skills, organizational skills, and problem-solving skills.
- Proven customer service experience as a manager; robust guest-focused mentality.
