The Senior Pharmacy

Technician supports technical and operational pharmacy services under pharmacist supervision.

Responsibilities include medication histories, prescription processing, sterile and non-sterile compounding, billing, inventory, and patient support. The position also requires professional judgment, documentation, and adherence to applicable standards.

Key Responsibilities: Transcribe medication therapy orders and changes Prepare, package, compound,



and verify medications Complete medication histories and drug monitoring Process prescriptions and resolve third-party billing issues Document distribution processes, errors, and missing medications Requirements: Pharmacy Technician Diploma Valid license in valuable standing with the College of Pharmacists At least one year in pharmaceutical or retail pharmacy employment Working knowledge of retail pharmacy practice and specialty medications Strong working knowledge of Kroll and Microsoft applications Apply pharmacy technical expertise, medication preparation, Kroll knowledge, and regulatory judgment as a Senior Pharmacy Technician at McKesson.
