This senior Photonics Engineer owns verification across multiple silicon and system programs. You will develop channel models, correlate measurements, and address signal integrity and link-performance challenges. The work spans optical hardware, electrical hardware, SerDes, and silicon bring-up.

Key Responsibilities: Characterize and debug high-speed electrical and optical hardware

Build channel models and correlate bench measurements

Own link budgets and verification methodology

Analyze eye diagrams, BER, jitter, and equalization

Support silicon bring-up and root-cause investigations

Requirements: MS or PhD with eight-plus years, or BS/MS with ten-plus years

Verification strategy ownership for a complete silicon or system program

Expertise in 56G, 112G, or 224G-plus serial links

Robust Python or MATLAB automation experience

Proficiency with VNAs, oscilloscopes, BERTs, TDRs, and modeling tools
