Pay: $30.00–$45.00 per hour (about $62,400–$93,600 per year), based on experience

Shoreway Drywall is looking for an experienced Senior Project Coordinator or Project Manager to manage our drywall scope on ICI (Industrial, Commercial, Institutional) high-rise projects. This is a leadership role that connects the office with the field. You'll work directly with general contractors and builders, and you'll also oversee field operations to keep our crews, materials and schedules on track.

The right person knows drywall systems inside and out, is comfortable on site and in the office, and can keep multiple projects moving at once.

Responsibilities

Project Coordination

- Manage Shoreway's drywall and steel stud scope on multiple ICI high-rise projects from start to finish
- Act as the main point of contact for GC and builder project managers and site superintendents
- Prepare and track submittals, RFIs, shop drawings and project documentation
- Manage change orders, extras and backcharges, and keep project costs under control
- Review blueprints, specifications and layout drawings to plan our scope of work
- Attend site and coordination meetings and report on project progress

Field Operations

- Oversee field operations across active job sites, working closely with foremen and crew leads




- Plan and coordinate manpower, crew scheduling and work sequencing to meet project deadlines
- Schedule and manage material orders, equipment and deliveries to site
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor productivity, quality and progress
- Make sure drywall assemblies, steel stud framing, shaftwall systems, fire-rated assemblies, boarding, taping and finishing meet specifications
- Ensure compliance with site safety rules, OHSA requirements and company policies
- Identify field issues early and resolve them with foremen and the GC
- Support and mentor foremen and field staff

Requirements

- 5+ years of experience in drywall or interior construction (ICI or high-rise experience required)
- Previous experience as a project coordinator, project manager, foreman or field supervisor on large construction projects
- Strong knowledge of drywall and steel stud systems, fire-rated assemblies and high-rise construction practices
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications and site layouts
- Experience dealing directly with general contractors and builders
- Strong leadership, communication and organizational skills
- Comfortable with email, spreadsheets and project documentation (Excel,



PDF markup tools such as Bluebeam are an asset)
- Takeoff or estimating experience is an asset
- Valid driver's licence and reliable transportation

Schedule

- Monday to Friday, full-time
- Split between office and job sites
- Occasional extended hours or weekends based on project needs

Experience
