New Value Solutions is recruiting experienced Senior IT Project Managers to support Government of Canada consulting engagements focused on enterprise technology modernization, digital transformation, systems implementation, and IT infrastructure initiatives.

We are seeking accomplished Project Managers with demonstrated experience leading complex technology projects, managing multidisciplinary teams, and delivering successful outcomes within large, highly structured organizations.

Responsibilities:

- Lead the planning, execution, monitoring, and delivery of complex IT projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives, schedules, budgets, and quality expectations.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, schedules, budgets, resource plans, risk registers, and project governance documentation.
- Manage project scope, deliverables, dependencies, risks, issues, and change requests throughout the project lifecycle.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams, including technical specialists, business stakeholders, vendors, and external service providers.
- Establish and maintain project governance structures, reporting processes, and escalation procedures.
- Facilitate project meetings, steering committees, stakeholder workshops, and executive-level presentations.
- Monitor project performance, identify delivery risks, and implement corrective actions to maintain project objectives.
- Manage vendor relationships, procurement activities, and third-party deliverables.
- Support organizational change management, implementation planning, operational readiness, and transition to ongoing support.
- Prepare project status reports,



executive briefings, decision documents, and other project management deliverables.

Requirements:

- Extensive professional experience managing complex IT projects within large enterprise or public sector environments.
- Demonstrated experience leading enterprise technology implementations, systems modernization, infrastructure projects, or digital transformation initiatives.
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, frameworks, and best practices, including Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid delivery approaches.
- Experience managing project budgets, schedules, resources, risks, issues, and dependencies.
- Proven ability to coordinate multidisciplinary project teams and manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Experience establishing project governance, reporting structures, and project controls.
- Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience preparing executive-level project reporting, presentations, and recommendations.
- Relevant post-secondary education in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, Project Management, or a related discipline,



or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Previous experience managing IT projects for Government of Canada departments or agencies.
- Experience delivering large-scale public sector technology modernization or transformation initiatives.
- Project Management Skilled (PMP), PRINCE2, or other recognized project management certification.
- Experience working within formal government project governance and approval frameworks.
- Experience with Microsoft Project, Primavera, Jira, Azure DevOps, or comparable project management tools.
- Experience managing projects involving multiple vendors, complex integrations, or geographically distributed teams.
- Existing Government of Canada Reliability Status or Secret security clearance.
