About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and highly organized Accounts Payable & Accounting Coordinator to join our team in Saskatoon. This role is responsible for managing the full accounts payable cycle while providing critical accounting and finance support for the facility.

You will serve as the primary on-site finance contact , collaborating closely with an off-site Controller and CFO. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, hands-on environment and enjoys working cross-functionally with operations, purchasing, and external vendors.

What You’ll Do

Accounts Payable

- Manage the full AP cycle: invoice intake, coding, approvals, posting, and payments
- Monitor AP inbox and supplier portals to ensure timely and complete invoice processing
- Match invoices to purchase orders and receiving documents, resolving discrepancies
- Maintain accurate vendor records and ensure compliance with company policies
- Reconcile vendor statements and investigate variances
- Manage company credit card transactions and follow up on missing documentation
- Maintain organized and audit-ready records

Banking & Payments

- Prepare and process supplier payments, including remittances
- Execute banking transactions (transfers, FX quotes, etc.)
- Perform weekly bank, credit card, and line of credit reconciliations
- Record bank fees, interest, and other financial transactions
- Support cash flow management through timely payment scheduling

Accounting & Finance Support

- Assist with month-end reconciliations (balance sheet and expense accounts)
- Prepare and file monthly sales tax returns (GST, PST,



HST)
- Provide reporting and general finance support
- Support accounts receivable activities as needed

What You BringExperience

- Minimum 5 years of experience in accounts payable and receivable
- Experience in CPG and/or manufacturing environments is required

Education

- Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration preferred
- CPA designation (in progress or interest in pursuing) is considered an asset

Skills & Technical Knowledge

- Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH)

- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities

- Experience with:

- QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise (QBE)

- SPS Commerce

- Fishbowl (preferred)
