Overview

We are seeking a friendly and attentive Server/bartender to join our vibrant hospitality team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for delivering exceptional customer service and creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests. This role involves preparing and serving beverages, managing transactions, and ensuring a clean and safe environment in accordance with food safety standards.

Prior experience in food industry settings, especially with POS systems such as Toast POS, is highly valued. The successful applicant will thrive in a quick-paced environment, demonstrate excellent time management skills, and possess a strong understanding of food handling and safety protocols.

Duties

- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests in a timely manner
- Take orders accurately using POS systems and process payments efficiently
- Ensure compliance with food safety and handling regulations at all times
- Engage with customers to provide excellent service, answer questions about menu items, and create a positive experience
- Monitor guest behavior to promote responsible drinking and adhere to legal alcohol service regulations




- Assist in setting up and closing down the bar area at the beginning and end of shifts

Skills

- Proven experience in restaurant or food service environments, particularly in bartending roles
- Familiarity with POS systems
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during busy periods
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and managing tabs accurately
- Ability to work effectively within a team in a hospitality setting
- Good communication skills to interact clearly with guests and team members
- Demonstrated responsibility in serving alcohol responsibly and adhering to legal requirements
