Overview

- We are seeking a friendly, attentive Server to provide welcoming and efficient service in a hospitality-focused restaurant environment.

- The ideal candidate enjoys working with guests and teammates, communicates clearly, and can stay organized in a rapid-paced food service setting.

- Previous serving, restaurant, food industry, or guest services experience is helpful but not required. Training will be provided on restaurant procedures and POS systems.

Duties

- Welcome guests, explain menu items, answer questions, and provide attentive customer service throughout each visit.

- Take and enter orders accurately using a POS system;

experience with Micros POS is an advantage.

- Serve food and beverages promptly, check in with guests, and respond professionally to requests or concerns.

- Recommend menu items and use thoughtful upselling to enhance the guest experience.

- Process payments, operate the register, and handle cash and card transactions accurately.

- Coordinate with kitchen and service staff to ensure orders are prepared correctly and delivered on time.

- Follow food handling and food safety practices,



including proper sanitation and cleanliness standards.

- Assist with basic food preparation and other kitchen tasks as needed.

- Keep dining, service, and work areas clean, stocked, and organized.

- Use time management, basic math, and attention to detail to balance guest needs with service responsibilities.

Requirements

- Strong customer service, communication, and hospitality skills.

- Ability to work collaboratively and maintain a professional, welcoming manner.

- Comfort learning and using POS technology; Micros POS experience is a plus.

- Basic math skills and accuracy with order entry, cashiering, and cash handling.

- Awareness of food safety, food handling, and sanitation practices, or willingness to learn.

- Ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain composure during busy service periods.

- Food service, serving, restaurant, food industry, food preparation, or kitchen experience is beneficial but not required.

Pay: $16.60-$18.00 per hour
