Glenburn Soda Fountain, a beloved neighbourhood soda fountain in Burnaby Heights, is looking for a friendly and responsible Shift Manager to lead our team. If you have a passion for great customer service and experience leading a team in a fast-paced environment, we would love to meet you.

As a Shift Manager, you will oversee daily operations during your shift, ensuring our team delivers the exceptional experience our customers know and love.

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Lead, coach, and motivate the front counter team during your shift.
- Open and/or close the store, including cash handling and end-of-day reconciliation.
- Work alongside the team to prepare and serve our full menu of sundaes, sodas, and milkshakes.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues with professionalism and a positive attitude.
- Train new team members on recipes, store procedures, and service standards.
- Ensure all health, safety, and cleanliness standards are followed.
- Assist with inventory management and placing orders for supplies.

Qualifications:





- A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a supervisory or keyholder role is required, preferably in food service or retail.
- Must have a positive attitude and a genuine passion for customer service.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively in a rapid-paced environment.
- FoodSafe Level 1 certification is required (or willingness to obtain it immediately).
- Must be legally entitled to work in Canada.

Compensation:

- Pay Rate: $24.00–$29.00 per hour, based on experience.
- Supplemental Pay: Shared tips.
