East Parkland Bible Church is looking for a creative and organized Social Media Manager to help share our mission with the community. We are a welcoming church in Burnaby dedicated to building connection, supporting families, and making a positive impact. We seek someone who can craft engaging online content that reflects our values and invites others to join us.

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Plan and manage content across our church’s social media platforms, including Facebook and Instagram.

- Create and schedule engaging posts, including graphics, videos, event announcements, and community stories.

- Monitor comments and messages, responding promptly and with a friendly, welcoming tone.

- Collaborate with church staff and volunteers to promote services, events, and outreach programs.

- Track basic analytics to understand what content connects best with our audience.





- Assist with email newsletters and digital communications when needed.

Qualifications:

- Requires at least 2 years of experience managing social media for an organization, nonprofit, or business.

- Must have strong writing skills and a creative eye for visual content.

- Experience with content creation tools (such as Canva, Meta Business Suite, or Adobe Express) is required.

- Must be comfortable working independently and managing your own schedule.

- A genuine interest in community engagement and the church’s mission is a robust asset.

- Must be legally entitled to work in Canada.

Pay: $50,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
