Support youth through trauma-informed care as an onsite Youth Worker with Covenant House Toronto, covering day and evening shifts in a 24/7 operation. This full-time, permanent position serves young people in Resident Services and Winter Respite. You will assess physical and emotional needs, support individualized plans, and provide counseling, crisis intervention, and life-skills development.
The work includes collaboration with Case Managers, departments, and community agencies. Assess youth needs using a trauma-informed approach Support client plans with youth and Case Managers Provide counseling, crisis support, and behavior management Child and youth work degree or equivalent diploma Knowledge of adolescent development and street-youth issues Proficiency in Microsoft Office and robust communication Bring trauma-informed assessment, crisis intervention, and youth-support skills to Covenant House Toronto's residential programs. #
