If you are looking for your first kitchen job, require extensive training in basic food preparation, or have management experience but very little recent hands-on kitchen experience, this position will likely not be the right fit. Candidates should already demonstrate professional knife skills, kitchen awareness, food-safety habits and comfort working efficiently within an active production environment. All employees working directly with food must comply with our food-safety, sanitation, hygiene and grooming requirements, including policies regarding jewellery, artificial/long nails and anything else that could interfere with safe food handling. ## Schedule Our primary operating schedule is approximately **9:00 AM–5:00 PM**: **Monday Tuesday Thursday Friday** **WEDNESDAYS - once the role has been fully trained, perfected, and able to lead.

Additional requirements may include: - At least **one Saturday per month** - Occasional company events, demonstrations or special production days - Additional paid opportunities may become available through events and business growth Availability during our core operating days is essential. Initial training hours may begin below the full schedule and increase as the successful candidate demonstrates proficiency, reliability and ability to assume greater responsibility. ## Compensation **$24–$28/hour**, depending on demonstrated: - Culinary and food-production ability - Leadership experience - Supervisory capability - Operational judgment - Ability to work independently - Overall fit for the responsibilities of the position There is genuine opportunity for increased responsibility as the company grows, particularly in production oversight, employee training, inventory management and daily operations. ## Application Instructions **Please do not send only a résumé.** Along with your résumé, please send a brief message answering the following: 1. Are you consistently available Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, as well as an occasional Saturday? 10. Are you looking for permanent, long-term employment? 11. Are you comfortable working directly with customers when required? **Applications that do not answer these questions may not be considered.** Qualified candidates will first complete a brief interview. Selected candidates may then be invited to complete a **paid practical assessment/training period** so that both sides can determine whether there is a strong long-term fit.
