Overview

- We are seeking a dependable Mover/Driver to help transport, load, and deliver household or commercial items safely and professionally.
- This hands-on role combines moving, driving, and customer interaction. You’ll work with a team to protect customers’ belongings, meet delivery schedules, and provide courteous service.
- Applicants should be prepared for physical work, including frequent heavy lifting. Relevant experience is welcome, and training may be provided for role-specific procedures.

Duties

- Load, unload, carry, and arrange furniture, boxes, and other items while using safe handling techniques.
- Drive company vehicles to and from customer locations, following assigned routes and traffic laws.
- Secure cargo properly and help protect items and property during transport.
- Communicate clearly with customers and team members about schedules, access, and handling instructions.
- Provide professional customer service throughout pickups and deliveries.
- Use moving equipment such as dollies, straps, and hand trucks; operate a forklift when trained and authorized.




- Assist with organizing and maintaining equipment and work areas, including in a warehouse setting.
- Follow company safety procedures and report damage, hazards, or vehicle concerns promptly.

Skills

- Ability to perform heavy lifting and sustained physical activity, including bending, carrying, and standing.
- Strong communication skills and a courteous, customer-focused approach.
- Experience with moving, packing, loading, or delivery work is an asset.
- Commercial driving experience and a valid driver’s license appropriate for the assigned vehicle are preferred.
- Warehouse experience, including handling, staging, or organizing goods, is helpful.
- Forklift experience or certification is an asset; willingness to complete required training is preferred.
- Dependability, punctuality, teamwork, and attention to secure work practices.

Pay: $18.00-$23.00 per hour
