Job Summary ***Do not apply unless you have experience as a SANDBLASTER
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our Galvanizing team as a Sandblaster. This job involves knowledge of various commercial sandblasting profiles and the ability to problem solve any issues that may arise within the sandblast bay along with operating some machinery to assist moving the material.

Duties - *Experienced Sandblaster ONLY*

- Operate forklifts, power tools, and hand tools safely and effectively to move materials and assemble products
- Perform machining tasks, including drilling, cutting, and shaping components according to specifications
- Conduct welding operations as needed to join metal parts securely
- Sandblasting to specific blast profiles,
- Maintain equipment by performing routine inspections, troubleshooting mechanical issues, and conducting basic repairs
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment at all times
- Use basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and quality checks during production processes




- Support continuous improvement initiatives by suggesting process enhancements and participating in team meetings

Skills

*Previous Sandblasting experience in an industrial setting is a must.

- Mechanical knowledge of manufacturing equipment and maintenance procedures
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment
- Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles for efficient workflow management
- Ability to perform basic math accurately for measurements and quality control
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues quickly
- Valuable communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team environment
