Job Overview

We are seeking a customer-focused Retail Salesperson to help customers find the right products and enjoy a positive shopping experience. The ideal candidate is comfortable with sales, attentive to detail, and able to explain product features clearly. Experience in retail sales, technology sales, or technical sales is welcome. Bilingual or multilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.

Duties

- Welcome customers, learn about their needs, and provide helpful, courteous customer service.
- Recommend products, explain features, and demonstrate how products work through engaging product demos.
- Support sales goals by identifying relevant add-ons and using thoughtful, customer-focused upselling.
- Operate the POS system, process transactions, and assist with cashiering and accurate cash handling.
- Use basic math to verify transactions, calculate totals, and provide correct change.
- Maintain attractive product displays, restock merchandise, and support store merchandising standards.
- Answer customer questions in person and by phone, using professional phone etiquette.




- Communicate clearly in English; assist customers in another language when bilingual or multilingual.
- Keep the sales area organized and coordinate with coworkers to support daily store operations.

Requirements

- Strong communication skills and a friendly, professional approach to customer interactions.
- Valuable time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks in a busy retail environment.
- Comfort learning product information and explaining it in a clear, accessible way.
- Experience in retail sales, cashiering, or customer service is an asset.
- Technology sales, technical sales experience, and experience conducting product demos are nice to have.
- Ability to handle transactions accurately and follow store procedures for POS use and cash handling.
- Bilingual or multilingual ability is an asset.

Pay: $16.00-$28.47 per hour

Expected hours: 30.0 per week
