Masterstrux Contracting Group Inc. is seeking an experienced, reliable, and highly skilled commercial construction handyman and service crew to assist with the final stages of our commercial construction projects.

This opportunity is strictly for established subcontractors with their own crew of at least 3 skilled workers. We are not hiring individual employees or general labourers.

We specialize in commercial tenant improvements, renovations, and interior build-outs throughout the GTA and surrounding areas.

We are looking for a versatile subcontractor crew capable of completing finishing work, deficiency repairs, installations, and general construction services to help bring our projects to successful completion.

The ideal crew must be detail-oriented, reliable, and capable of completing assigned scopes of work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities & Scope of Work

- Install commercial washroom accessories, including grab bars, toilet paper dispensers, soap dispensers, hand dryers, mirrors, and other fixtures.
- Install and replace T-bar suspended ceiling tiles and perform minor ceiling grid adjustments.
- Complete drywall patching, repairs, taping, sanding, and preparation for paint.
- Install mirrors, wall-mounted accessories, shelving, and miscellaneous fixtures.
- Install and repair baseboards, including vinyl, MDF, and wood trim.
- Install, adjust, and repair commercial door hardware, including closers, handles, locks, hinges, and related components.
- Complete minor carpentry, framing, and general construction repairs.
- Perform painting, touch-ups, caulking, and finishing work as required.
- Address deficiency lists and complete final construction touch-ups.
- Assist with final project closeouts and preparations for client handover.
- Perform miscellaneous handyman and general construction services as needed.




- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.

Mandatory Qualifications

- Must operate as an independent subcontractor or registered construction business.
- Must have an established crew of at least 3 skilled workers.
- Minimum 10 years of hands-on construction experience for the crew lead or owner.
- Commercial construction and finishing experience strongly preferred.
- Ability to complete multiple types of construction tasks professionally and efficiently.
- Must supply all necessary tools, equipment, and transportation.
- Ability to read construction drawings and follow site instructions.
- Must be capable of working independently and managing assigned tasks.
- Solid attention to detail and quality workmanship.
- Must be reliable, punctual, professional, and able to meet deadlines.
- Valid WSIB coverage and commercial liability insurance required.
- Ability to travel between multiple job sites throughout the GTA and surrounding areas.

What We're Looking For

We are not looking for subcontractors who specialize in only one trade. We need a well-rounded, experienced construction service crew capable of handling a wide variety of finishing, repair, and installation tasks.

Our projects often require multiple small tasks to be completed quickly and professionally before turnover. We need a crew that can arrive onsite, review a deficiency list, organize the work, and complete it efficiently with minimal supervision.

Pay: $35.00-$50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 – 40.0 per week
