Sikheya Institute is assisting a partner organization in recruiting a Forklift Operator / General Labourer for a steel and metal company located in Etobicoke, Ontario.

We are seeking a reliable, hardworking individual with previous counterbalance forklift experience who is comfortable performing both forklift operation and general labour duties in an industrial environment.





The position involves approximately 50% forklift operation and 50% general labour work.

Key Responsibilities

- Operate a counterbalance forklift to move and handle materials within the facility.
- Load, unload, and transport materials using a forklift.
- Assist with general labour and material-handling activities.
- Support daily warehouse and production operations as required.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
- Follow workplace safety procedures and company guidelines.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Requirements

- Previous counterbalance forklift operating experience is required.
- Experience working in warehouse, manufacturing, or industrial environments is preferred.
- Comfortable performing both forklift operation and general labour duties.
- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment.
- Solid attention to workplace safety.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
- Availability to work Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

- Hourly Rate: $18.00–$19.00, depending on experience
