Overview
Prepare candidates for the Cook Red Seal examination through focused culinary review and examination practice.
Responsibilities
- Review food safety, kitchen operations and preparation techniques.
- Cover cooking methods, recipes, yields, portioning and culinary calculations.
- Facilitate scenario-based and procedural exam questions.
- Deliver practice tests and mock examinations.
Experience
- Red Seal endorsement preferred.
- Strong professional culinary experience.
- Positive knowledge of food safety and kitchen operations.
- Culinary teaching or mentoring experience considered an asset.
Pay: From $35.00 per hour
