Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Supervisor to lead our construction team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in construction management, with proven skills in supervising projects from inception to completion. As a Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will play a crucial role in coordinating activities on-site, managing resources, and maintaining effective communication among team members.
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily operations on the construction site, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and project specifications.
- Oversee the work of construction crews, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality workmanship.
- Manage project budgets and timelines, ensuring that resources are allocated efficiently.
- Conduct regular inspections of work performed to ensure compliance with quality control standards.
- Utilize construction management software such as ProCore and Bluebeam for project tracking and documentation.
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to guide construction activities effectively.
- Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to provide updates on project status and address any issues that arise.
- Assist in construction estimating processes to prepare accurate cost assessments for upcoming projects.
Experience
- Proven experience in a supervisory role within the construction industry is essential.
- Strong knowledge of budgeting practices related to construction projects.
- Familiarity with construction estimating techniques and tools is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in blueprint reading and understanding schematics is required.
- Experience with quality control measures to ensure project standards are met consistently.
- Familiarity with construction management software, particularly ProCore and Bluebeam, is a plus.
