Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Operations Assistant to support daily office operations and provide a welcoming, skilled experience for customers. This role combines front desk coverage, customer support, data entry, filing, and general administrative tasks. The ideal candidate is organized, comfortable using office technology, and able to communicate with courtesy and confidence.

Duties

- Welcome visitors and provide front desk support.
- Answer and route calls using a multi-line phone system, demonstrating strong phone etiquette.
- Respond to customer questions and provide helpful, qualified customer service and support.
- Enter, update, and verify information in company records and databases.
- Organize, file, and retrieve documents while maintaining accurate records.
- Assist with bookkeeping tasks and routine financial recordkeeping, including work in QuickBooks as needed.
- Prepare, proofread, and format correspondence, forms, and other office documents.
- Use Microsoft Office and Google Workspace tools for documents, spreadsheets,



email, and scheduling.
- Support day-to-day administrative operations and help keep office processes organized and efficient.

Experience

- Office, clerical, or administrative experience is preferred.
- Strong computer skills, accurate data entry, and typing ability are important.
- Demonstrated organizational skills, attention to detail, and proofreading ability.
- Customer service experience and confidence handling phone and front desk responsibilities.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and multi-line phone systems is an asset.
- QuickBooks, bookkeeping, medical office experience, dental office experience, or experience as a dental receptionist is helpful but not required.

Pay: $18.25-$32.06 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
