The Pendennis Weddings and Events team is driven by excellence. Our work can be stressful, is often chaotic, and it's a lot of fun! We are looking for a server/bartender for our new restaurant, open on Thursday's and Friday's!

Responsibilities

- Provide qualified serving and bartending services for our restaurant, weddings, private events, and special occasions.
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes,



event requirements, and guest preferences.
- Deliver exceptional guest service by greeting guests, taking food and beverage orders, making recommendations, and ensuring a positive dining and bar experience.
- Serve food and beverages efficiently and professionally while maintaining proper presentation and service standards.
- Set up, maintain, and break down bar and service stations, ensuring all areas remain clean, organized, and fully stocked throughout the event.
- Monitor beverage, glassware, and service supply inventory, restocking as needed and communicating shortages to management.
- Process payments accurately, operate POS systems, and follow established cash-handling procedures.
- Comply with all applicable health and safety regulations, food safety standards, and responsible alcohol service guidelines.
- Maintain professional conduct and adhere to company policies, including responsible alcohol consumption and workplace expectations.
- Communicate effectively with event coordinators, kitchen staff, and fellow team members to ensure seamless event execution.
- Assist with event setup, guest seating, table maintenance, clearing, and other service-related duties as required.




- Manage time and prioritize tasks effectively during high-volume service periods while maintaining attention to detail and quality standards.
- Support the training and onboarding of new serving and bartending staff, ensuring consistent service standards and adherence to venue procedures.

Qualifications

- Previous experience in serving and bartending or a similar role within the food industry is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a friendly atmosphere.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and responsible alcohol service is essential.
- Proficient in using POS systems for order processing and cashiering duties.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
- Excellent time management skills to efficiently serve customers during peak hours.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
- Must be of legal age to serve alcohol in accordance with local laws.
