Velcor Construction Services Inc. is looking for a skilled commercial carpenter to join our growing team.

The successful candidate will have the following:

- MINIMUM 5 years commercial carpentry experience, working with steel studs, backing, metal doors and frames, rubber base, ceiling tile and t bar, minor drywall and taping, millwork install, carpet, lvt small installs, abilty to machine and hang wood doors and frames alone from raw materials.

- Reliable selection of basic hand and power tools

- Ability to proficiently read drawings, complete floor layouts, drywall and taping repairs, install doors, hardware, millwork, wood backing, t-bar repairs and ceiling tiles

- Ability to communicate professionally with clients, superintendents and subtrades.

-Consistent, accurate and detailed with documentation including safety requirements

- Restoration carpentry would be an asset





- Reliable transportation is required with the prospect for a company vehicle upon successful completion of the probationary period.

- Organization, resourcefulness and ability to efficiently manage time are a MUST. DO NOT APPPLY IF YOU DO NOT HAVE THE ABOVE SKILLSET OR ARE A FRAMER, OR CRIBBING CARPENTER.

Job Types: Permanent, Full-time

Pay: $35.00-$44.00 per hour
