Position: CNC Operator / Programmer

Lanex is looking for a skilled and motivated CNC Operator / Programmer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating and programming CNC machinery, a strong understanding of machining processes, and the ability to produce high-quality parts to precise specifications.

We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, pays attention to detail, can work independently and with our team.

- Set up, operate, and program CNC machinery to manufacture precision components.
- Create, modify, and optimize CNC programs to improve efficiency and part quality.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and CAD models.
- Select appropriate tooling, cutting speeds, feeds, and machining strategies.
- Perform machine setups, tool changes, and work holding adjustments.
- Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments.
- Troubleshoot machining issues and make program adjustments as needed.
- Maintain machine cleanliness and follow government and our workplace safety regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Work with team members to meet production schedules and quality requirements.
- Identify opportunities to improve machining processes and reduce material waste.
- Previous experience operating and programming CNC machinery.




- Knowledge of G-code and CNC machining principles.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and GD&T.;
- Experience using CAD/CAM software is an asset.
- Familiarity with measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and indicators.
- Strong critical thinking skills and diligence.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

· Experience with machining aluminum, steel, stainless steel, or other metals is an asset.
