Job Overview

The Breakfast Attendant helps create a welcoming start to each guest’s day by preparing and serving breakfast, maintaining a clean and organized dining area, and providing attentive guest service. This role is well suited to someone with a friendly manner, strong communication skills, and an interest in food service, hospitality, or hotel operations.

Duties

- Welcome guests, answer questions, and provide courteous customer service throughout breakfast service.
- Prepare and replenish breakfast items, beverages, and serving stations while following food safety and food-handling practices.
- Assist with food preparation, cooking, and meal preparation according to established procedures.
- Serve guests and help ensure food and dining areas remain presentable and well stocked.
- Clean and sanitize counters, tables, kitchen areas, equipment, and utensils during and after service.




- Monitor supplies and notify the appropriate team member when items need replenishing.
- Communicate clearly with guests and coworkers to support smooth service.

Qualifications

- Customer service experience and robust communication skills.
- Food service, food preparation, kitchen, restaurant, serving, or meal preparation experience is helpful.
- Experience with cleaning, cooking, is an asset;
- Hotel experience, guest services, hospitality, or barista experience is beneficial.
- Basic understanding of food handling and food safety practices, or willingness to learn and follow established procedures.
- Dependable, organized, and comfortable working as part of a team in a fast-paced breakfast setting.

Pay: $16.00-$16.50 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 – 30.0 per week
