Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and personable Barber/Stylist to provide high-quality grooming and hair styling services while creating a welcoming experience for every client. The ideal candidate combines technical ability with strong customer service, clear communication, and attention to sanitation. This role may also support front desk operations and retail sales to help keep the shop running smoothly.

Duties

- Consult with clients to understand their preferences and recommend suitable cuts, styles, and grooming services.
- Perform barbering and hair styling services with care, precision, and attention to detail.
- Build positive client relationships through attentive, skilled customer service.
- Maintain clean, organized workstations and follow sanitation practices for tools, equipment, and shared areas.
- Explain available services and products, and make relevant recommendations through thoughtful upselling and retail sales.
- Assist with front desk tasks,



such as welcoming clients, managing appointments, and supporting an orderly shop environment.
- Communicate clearly with clients and team members about service needs, scheduling, and shop procedures.

Skills

- Experience or demonstrated ability in barbering and hair styling.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Knowledge of sanitation practices and a commitment to maintaining a clean workspace.
- Comfort making appropriate service recommendations and supporting retail sales and upselling.
- Professional, welcoming manner and ability to contribute to front desk operations.
- Reliable, organized, and attentive to client needs and details.

Pay: $16.75-$19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25.0 – 40.0 per week
