The Opportunity
CBI Business Solutions is recruiting on behalf of a growing organization seeking a detail-focused individual to support its financial administration, internal records and compliance activities.

About the Working Environment
Our client operates in a busy, collaborative environment where accuracy, accountability and continuous improvement matter. The organization relies on dependable financial and administrative processes to support its activities.
You will be expected to manage routine responsibilities independently, communicate clearly with colleagues and recognize when an issue requires guidance or escalation. A willingness to learn and a consistent approach to follow-up will be important to your success.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Administration and Accounting Support
- Record supplier invoices and credit-card transactions, ensuring entries are accurate and supported by the required documentation.
- Review receipts and expense records for completeness, following up with employees to obtain missing information or resolve inconsistencies.
- Keep vendor files, financial records and payment documentation organized and current, and assist with preparing records for routine payment and accounting activities.
- Support account reconciliations and financial checks by comparing records, identifying differences and referring unresolved items to the appropriate team member.
- Assist with routine data transfers between payroll and accounting systems. Check that transferred information is complete, reconcile corresponding totals and help investigate missing entries or mismatches before corrections are made.
- Cross-reference information from financial, payroll and operational records to identify inaccuracies, omissions or discrepancies requiring attention.
Privacy, Compliance and Records Administration
- Maintain tracking tools for privacy and records-management activities, including required actions,
deadlines and outstanding documentation.
- Follow up with employees and departments on incomplete submissions or overdue tasks, and escalate unresolved matters or potential compliance concerns to the responsible lead.
- Organize supporting documents and evidence of completed compliance activities so that records are explicit, accessible to authorized colleagues and easy to review.
- Follow established filing, retention and secure information-handling procedures, and assist with implementing and maintaining consistent records-management practices.
Projects and Operational Support
- Assist with privacy, records-management and other internal projects through data entry, document preparation and administrative follow-up.
- Support system updates, data cleanup and the organization of electronic documents.
- Provide administrative assistance with property-related activities, including maintaining files, tracking key information and coordinating documentation for related projects.
